Just over a year ago, we shared with you a behind-the-scenes look at the installation of the Cèdres footbridge in Chavannes-près-Renens.
The structure has now been inaugurated 
: a 110-tonne footbridge entirely dedicated to soft mobility 
, proudly installed above the motorway.
The main challenge of this project was to install the central span in one piece above the motorway. The span was equipped with formwork directly, allowing the deck to be concreted without additional closure of the road.
