🏗️ 1,300 tonnes of steel in the service of sport!

We are heading to Ticino, where we are building the steel framework for the new indoor swimming pool 💦 at the Tenero National Youth Sports Centre (CST).

This is a major project involving 24 triangulated sections measuring 21 metres long and 7.5 metres high, which form the centrepieces of the steel structure. 💪They enable large spaces to be covered without intermediate supports.

Too large to be transported in one piece from Bulle to Tenero, these steel giants will be assembled on site. Prior to this, a trial assembly was carried out in our workshop to check every detail of the manufacturing process and recreate the actual conditions on site for our welders. 🔥

Each element receives C3VH anti-corrosion treatment before departure, but the welded areas remain unfinished and will be painted on site.

On to the next step assembly using temporary support towers.
